ARCHITERRA CREATES AN ESTATE RETREAT FOR THE INFANT WELFARE SOCIETY As a reminder of an era long past – the Coach House is a welcome retreat from the main estate. Upon arrival the Gazebo Garden accents the architecture of the building and provides a peaceful setting out of the hot summer sun. Stately urns filled with annual color and foliage and set among a bed of jovial spring violas flank the entrance of this garden. Clipped boxwood crescents soften the linear lines of the walk, hedge and entry drive. The formal hedgerow of burning bush provides an allé that leads the visitor to the gazebo itself. The focal urn at the back of the gazebo draws the eye with its colorful plantings of springtime annuals.
